Dante Vescio is an internationally award-winning director, screenwriter, and editor. His films include one feature, five short films, and two music videos, with over 60 selections at national and international film festivals, 15 awards, and 15 additional nominations in categories such as Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.

His career began with the short film "M is for Mailbox," made for the "ABC's of Death 2" feature competition. Out of more than a thousand entries, "M is for Mailbox" placed third and is now distributed by Alamo Drafthouse Films as part of the feature "ABC's of Death 2.5."

At 25, he was invited to direct his debut feature, "O Diabo Mora Aqui." The film had its world premiere at the Sitges Film Festival — the world's largest fantastic film festival — won two major awards in the United States, and received several other nominations. The film is now distributed internationally and is part of Prime Video's catalog.

His next two short films, "Blondie" and "Children of the Cosmos," found success on the competition circuit. "Blondie" won Best Horror at My RØDE Reel and has nearly 200k views on YouTube. "Children of the Cosmos" was praised by legendary director Brian Trenchard-Smith — one of Quentin Tarantino's idols — and is part of DUST's catalog.

His most recent film, "Dead Teenager Séance," premiered in Los Angeles at Screamfest in 2019 and traveled the world across more than 40 film festivals, accumulating over 20 awards and nominations. The short is now part of ALTER's catalog and has nearly 200k views on YouTube.

Also in 2019, he directed, produced, wrote, and edited the music video "Coming" for Iggor Cavalera's new band, PETBRICK. In 2021, he wrote, produced, and directed the music video "Pistoleira" for award-winning singer and screenwriter Alice Marcone.

As an editor, he has partnered with The Gathery in New York for clients including HBO, Warner, H&M, St. Regis, and Le Méridien. He also edited the feature film "Inverno," starring Renato Góes, Thaila Ayala, and Bárbara Reis.
